Conference Venue

The conference will be held at Hotel Satel in Poprad, Slovakia. The hotel can be reached by foot (around 5 minutes) from the train station in Poprad.

• use of other equipment (not provided by organisers): please check in advance.

Introduction to Poprad

Poprad is the city in the northern part of Slovakia, with a population of approximately 50,000 is the tenth largest city in Slovakia. Thanks to its location it is sometimes called the gate to the High Tatra Mountains. This is due to the local train, a set of special narrow-gauge trains (trams), connecting the resorts in the High Tatras with each other and with Poprad (the train is known in Slovak as Tatranská elektrická železnica and is operated hourly).
